Quality standards for Amazon Renewed
- Products sold by you on Amazon Renewed must be inspected and tested to confirm that they look and work like new.
- The renewal process typically includes diagnostic testing, replacement of defective parts, a thorough cleaning and inspection process, and repackaging.
- You must offer a warranty of at least 180 days.

How can I start selling with Amazon Renewed?
Step 1
Register to sell on Amazon
To list refurbished, used, or opened products with Amazon Renewed, you must first register a seller account.
Step 2
Qualify to sell with Amazon Renewed
To be certified to sell with Amazon Renewed, you will need to provide detailed information on your history of selling like-new products.
Only sellers who meet the following criteria are eligible to participate in the Amazon Renewed program. Please note that the required documents differ depending on the type of business.

[Manufacturers]
- You must be a certified second-hand merchant with a track record selling used/recycled goods.
- Submit a copy of the company profile and a copy of the trademark registration submitted to the Patent Office.
- Submission of a Product Control Process Summary (QPS) document (Please check application page).
- If you are an existing seller on Amazon, we require an Order Defect Rate (ODR) of 0.8% or less in the trailing 90 days.
- Submission of product sample photos : provide at least 9 sample images of the product and packaging (1. the box in which the product will be shipped (labeling must be applied on at least two sides of the package, explicitly identifying the product as "Renewed", "Refurbished", "Re-manufactured"), 2. the shipping box with the product and any other accessories in it). Photos of the product inside, 3 to 8. product images, product photos from the top, bottom, and all sides that clearly show the corners of the product (so that the corners of the product, volume control buttons, power supply, USB port, etc. can be clearly seen) 9. Product photo with screen on.
- Your company must provide a minimum 180-day warranty for all the products in question.

- You must be a certified second-hand merchant with a track record selling used/recycled goods.
- Submission of a Product Control Process Summary (QPS) document (Please check application page).
- If you are an existing seller on Amazon, we require an Order Defect Rate (ODR) of 0.8% or less in the trailing 90 days.
- If you are planning to list non-Apple products, you must present invoices proving that the total purchase cost of the goods planned for sale with Amazon Renewed is at least ¥5,000,000 (or 50,000 USD). Only invoices issued within the 90 days before the date of application are acceptable. You may black out the unit purchase amount on the invoices.
- If you are planning to list Apple products, you must present invoices proving that the total purchase cost of just the Apple-brand products planned for sale with Amazon Renewed is at least ¥10,000,000 (or 100,000 USD). Only invoices issued within the 90 days before the date of application are acceptable. Please submit an invoice that can prove the purchase amount. Also, in addition to a copy of the invoice that can prove that the total purchase amount is 10 million yen or more, a copy of the invoice for purchasing accessories from authorized brands, (there are no price requirements for accessory invoices)
- If you wish to list a non-Apple product, provide at least 9 sample images of the product and packaging (1. the box in which the product will be shipped (labeling must be applied on at least two sides of the package, explicitly identifying the product as "Renewed", "Refurbished", "Re-manufactured"), 2. the shipping box with the product and any other accessories in it). Photos of the product inside, 3 to 8. product images, product photos from the top, bottom, and all sides that clearly show the corners of the product (so that the corners of the product, volume control buttons, power supply, USB port, etc. can be clearly seen) 9. Product photo with screen on.
- If you wish to list an Apple product, please provide at least 10 sample images of the product and packaging (1. the box in which the product will be shipped (labeling must be applied on at least two sides of the package, explicitly identifying the product as "Renewed", "Refurbished", "Re-manufactured"), 2. the shipping box containing the product and other accessories). 3~8. Product image, product photo from above, below, and all four sides clearly showing the corners of the product (take pictures that clearly show the corners of the product, volume control buttons, power supply, USB port, etc.) 9. Product photo with screen on, 10. Screenshot image of battery test check (battery life >80%).
